I officially launched Varemeng on November 4, 2019. At its outset, I decided to deliver weekly updates on geopolitical events impacting our world. I decided to use Instagram because of its visual power.

The idea of Varemeng was in my mind since the beginning of 2019. Having the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and professionals around the world allowed me to develop a truly global worldview. My humanistic background also proved beneficial, giving me a thorough perception of contemporary historical transformations. Geopolitics fits this approach, as it gives a spatial meaning to this temporal understanding of history. 

In other words, Varemeng was launched to make sense of our world, through an innovative and unique analytical approach, aiming to provide fresh perspectives on the events shaping the world we live in.
